Pr 19thC Wedgwood Majolica Grape Leaf Plates--free ship
DESCRIPTION: Here is a matched pair of mid 19th Century majolica plates by Wedgwood in a grape leaf motif. Both are brilliantly coloured with an emerald green glaze and feature a lattice design near the rim and intertwining grape leaves and vines. The veins and details of the leaves are highlighted by dark green glaze giving a three-dimensional effect. Fabulous on a wall or plate rack! The back shows the Wedgwood signature, the number 7, and 3 tiny stilt marks.
CONDITION: Excellent. No chips or cracks; minor appropriate crazing visible on back side.
RESTORATION: None.

19thC Copeland Majolica Cabbage Leaf Plate
DESCRIPTION: This mid 19th Century, c1860, majolica plate is in a cabbage leaf motif. Brilliantly coloured with an emerald green glaze, it features three overlapping cabbage leaves that form an interesting rippled border. The veins and details of the leaves are highlighted by dark green glaze giving a three-dimensional effect. Fabulous on a wall or plate rack! The back shows the Copeland signature and 3 tiny stilt marks.
CONDITION: Excellent. No chips or cracks; minor appropriate crazing visible on back side.
